Kako graditi s praznim prostorom

By |22. 12. 2018|Categories: Interier, Intervju|Tags: , |

Pravilnih odgovorov ni, so le ideje, katere bodo potrdili čas in otroci.

By |19. 12. 2018|Categories: Arhitektura|

UVODNIK: Kdaj uživamo v arhitekturi? Uživamo v hrani, lastnini in prijetnih telesnih občutjih, uživamo v knjigi ali glasbi, uživamo ob lepem pogledu, v dobri družbi, uživamo ob poplačanem intelektualnem naporu. Pa kdaj razmišljamo, kaj užitek sploh je? Biološko gledano občutenje užitka nastane s spodbuditvijo določenih mest v možganih, kar povzroči občutek ugodja. Njihove celice začnejo delovati že ob pričakovanju užitka, zato ugodje občutimo že vnaprej, pomembna pa je tudi povratna informacija, do katere mere je občutje ugodja doseglo pričakovanja. Psihološko gledano sestavljajo užitek tri komponente: občutenje ugodja, motivacija oziroma nagon po doseganju ugodja in učenje oziroma spomin na doseženo ugodje. Arhitektura v tem primeru skuša kanalizirati splošno sprejeta načela uživanja in jih

Čičmany folk architecture reserve; Slovaška | BIG SEE Tourism Awards 2018

By |13. 11. 2018|Categories: Blog, Kreativni turizem, Nagrade turizem, Turizem|Tags: |

Čičmany is a small village in northern Slovakia. It is known as the first folk architecture reserve in the world, founded in 1977. It has been attracting public interest since the Slavonic Ethnological Exhibition in Prague in 1895. Since then a unique kind of tourism and folk studies has developed in the village and continues to this day. It is in many ways a typical Slovak village with black wooden homes clustered around the town church, yet these homes are distinguished by detailed white ornamentation that they began adorning the facades with around 200 years ago. At first it was painted by women with mud and later with lime to help preserve damaged wood. Nowadays the village doesn’t have many inhabitants but fortunately those who remained are working to preserve their traditions and cultural heritage such as folk music, costumes and dances through carnival celebrations.                       DATOTEKA Avtorji zgodbe: Citizens of Čičmany Investitorji/lastniki: Citizens of Čičmany and the Považie Museum Začetek projeka: 2nd half of the 18th century Lokacija: Žilinský kraj, okres Žilina, Čičmany Fotografije: Adam Lazár

Palazzo Radomiri Heritage Boutique Hotel; Črna Gora | BIG SEE Tourism Awards 2018

By |13. 11. 2018|Categories: Blog, Kreativni turizem, Nagrade turizem, Turizem|Tags: |

Hotel Palazzo Radomiri is the first boutique hotel in Montenegro. It rose up on the remains of a noble family house dating back to early 18thCentury, a home to many brave captains and prominent ship owners. It was devastated during earthquake of 1979 with only walls remaining, leaving only a weak memory of the past glory. Many years later, a family of architects and designers who were not afraid of the challenges to resurrect something that no one thought feasible at the time, have restored the ruins and rebuilt the villa to create an intimate boutique hotel. This ancient building was repurposed respecting natural surrounding and furnished with antiques and furniture from local sources as much as possible. Sea jetties serving the building were rebuilt in traditional way, without altering local coast line. Authenticity was the paramount idea, offered to the guests not only through individual approach and sustainability of the property, but through the total experience and special energy that is created by dedication and love invested into this place.                 DATOTEKA Avtorja zgodbe/ideje: late Urošević Gavrilo, Urošević Anna Investitorja/lastnika: late Urošević Gavrilo, Urošević Anna Začetek projekta: 2005 Lokacija: Dobrota, Kotor Municipality, Montenegro

Casa din Luncă (House in the Meadow) is the first tourist agripension in Trebujeni, near a museum complex “Old Orhei” on the banks of the river Raut, surrounded by a natural park. In 2004, a pilot project was started in Moldova to develop tourism in this rural area. The Benzin family got involved when two journalists from Chisinau visited our farm, who wanted to spend Christmas by the fire of a village oven, eating homemade bread and traditional pastry, walnuts and drinking red wine. They were our first guests. It was a fresh start for the entire region and other tourism structures soon followed.                 DATOTEKA Avtorica zgodbe/ideje: Ala Benzin Investitorica/lastnica: Ala Benzin Začetek projekta: 2000 Lokacija: Trebujeni, Moldova Fotografije: Olesea Cember, Arina Livadari

Hiša Raduha; Slovenija | BIG SEE Tourism Awards 2018

By |13. 11. 2018|Categories: Blog, Kreativni turizem, Nagrade turizem, Turizem|Tags: |

V nadstropju smo uredili dva bivalna prostora s teraso nad reko, kopalnico z večjo masažno kadjo, pečjo in še eno spalnico pod slemenom. Hiša Raduha z veliko osrednjo stavbo stoji v starem jedru vasi. DATOTEKA Avtorji: Janko Rožič, Gašper Drašler, Matjaž Suhadolc Investitorja: Martina and Matjaž Breznik Leto izgradnje: 2011-2015 Lokacija: Luče ob Savinji, Slovenija Fotografije: Žiga Okorn, Leon Vidic, arhiv Odprti krog

Arkabarka floating experience; Srbija | BIG SEE Tourism Awards 2018

By |13. 11. 2018|Categories: Blog, Kreativni turizem, Nagrade turizem, Turizem|Tags: |

Stay in the city, feel the nature. In a quiet morning, absorbed by the calmness of the river and the subtle rocking movement of the floating construction you easily forget that you are actually in the city. The architecture indulges the dipole urban-natural, combining a simple square form with a playful arrangement of windows and a two directional positioning of the façade's wooden boards painted in two shades. The interior connects with the outside with large glass openings in the lounge while in the rooms big windows frame the green scenery in unexpected ways.           The construction started in 2006 with one hostel building and evolved over the last 12 years as our understanding of the needs of the target group of such touristic experience became clearer. Thus every year new additions complemented the experience of relaxation and exclusivity: private bathrooms in most of the hostel rooms and a sauna for two came first, followed by a new terrace and bungalows that after few years were incorporated in a new adjacent building that offers apartments and studios. The interior, re-designed by artist Jelena Davico, is in vintage style while the wall paintings of Davico and Vuk Djuricković transform every room in a unique piece of art.               DATOTEKA Avtorji: Miodrag Zrnić, architects: Vasiliki Akritidou, Mladen Grbić, Georgia Papanastasiou Investitorji: Miodrag Zrnić, Vasiliki Akritidou, Damir Junuzović Leto izgradnje Arkabarka hostel: 2007 Arkabarka 2: 2016 Lokacija: Prijateljsko park - Danube, Belgrade, Serbia

AÉS Wine Terrace and Spa; Madžarska | BIG SEE Tourism Awards 2018

By |12. 11. 2018|Categories: Blog, Kreativni turizem, Nagrade turizem, Turizem|Tags: |

The Vineyard In the Eger wine region lies a long neglected vineyard, which is home to an exceptional grape variety, the “archiepiscopal” wine grape. The fruit of centuries of cultivation has inspired the local wine maker to preserve and present it to the public. The replanted grapes produce an unrivalled wine and the vineyard welcomes visitors who long for exceptional scenery, ancient grapes and relaxation.       Terrace and huts Small buildings are nestled in between the rows of the vineyard: the wine terrace is a covered and open space, complemented by basic bungalows for sleeping, a lookout for gazing and a pool for cooling off. Scale and material draw on the local traditions of the medieval hut. Concealed by the rows of the vineyard, with only its roof peeking out, bungalows provide protection and a place to rest. Evoking the image of a row of traditional huts, the covered, yet open and airy space of the wine terrace offers shelter from the summer sun.       Earth Concrete Tuff stone is a material characteristic of the area, also found in the form of gravel, the byproduct of carving wine cellars out of the stone. The thick walls of the buildings were created using this stone debris. The layered and manually mixed, rammed earth concrete walls cite the climatic characteristics, wall structure and material qualities of the excavated cellars.     Recycling In addition to the discarded tuff stone, other structures and equipment are all recycled materials and

MiNO; Italija | BIG SEE Tourism Awards 2018

By |12. 11. 2018|Categories: Blog, Nagrade turizem, Turizem|Tags: |

The project gains a youth hostel out of a portion of an old hemp factory in Migliarino. It counts on a reduced regional funding, 270.000€ including the furniture, and a doubtful management profitability. Thus the management aspects, both energetic and economic, are the principal matters. The hostel is a ‘passive machine’, where natural air fluxes are conveyed in order to obtain climatic benefits.       The impossibility of dividing the space, due to the only one source of light and air, suggests an alternative solution to the dormitory: like an indoor camping, autonomous cells are placed, enfolded in light wrapping, which are also climatically independent: a punctual air-conditioning system permits to choose which ones to ‘turn on’. The entire HVAC net is located under the inspectionable wood platform, which works as a connective tissue for the cells.           DATOTEKA Avtor zgodbe: Antonio Ravalli Architetti Investitor: Municipality of Migliarino Leto izgradnje: 2010 Lokacija: Migliarino, Italy Fotografije: Antonio Ravalli Architetti

The Cabin; Češka | BIG SEE Tourism Awards 2018

By |12. 11. 2018|Categories: Blog, Nagrade turizem, Turizem|Tags: |

The Shelter is an experimental wooden structure that was built on top of a former concrete bunker near to the borders of the Czech republic and Austria. These small fortresses were built along the Czechoslovakian borders before the WWII. as a protection against the Nazi Germany but they were never used. There are still thousands of these bunkers left in the Czech and Slovakian landscape.       The discussion what to do with these concrete bunkers that lack any function is still a sensitive topic in the society. That is why we designed it as a light wooden structure that can be easily removed and that minimize the impact on the construction of the bunker.  Because of the character of the landscape we decided to design the shelter as a dominant vertical volume. The building has two large windows - one facing East - the borders with Austria and the second one providing a view to the church of the nearest village. In the interior we wanted to show that even on a small built up area (only 12 m2) you can create a generous space. During the construction process we added another rooftop window.        The principle of the construction was to minimize the material, cost and the time needed for the construction. The building is very simple and can be built by manual labour using only common tools without any technology. The project is not financed via any donations or grants. The whole building process was
