Authors: gregorc/vrhovec arhitekti Photos: Damjan Švarc Location: Ljubljana, Slovenia Year of completion: 2018 Total area: 249 m2 Site area: 416 m2 We've designed and built the House Celovška 01 in Šentvid, north peripheral part of Ljubljana. What we did means huge distance from everything that is typical and known as a family house in Slovenia. It's a two-storey house with two housing units. It's 7m high, 40m long and 4m wide house. Urban House Celovška 01 is positioned near one of the main Ljubljana city roads – Celovška cesta. It's a busy road where you can find screamingly large and colorful advertising posters on one side and the forest in the backround. That's what dictated to choose the colors that balance all the oppposites. Black, as new white, seemed to be ideal. The volume melted seamlessly with the surroundings and always communicates with different kind of light in the day. Black coat changes from silvery white in the strong sunshine to carbon black in the evening. Narrow House is extremely narrow. The interior width measures from 3 to 3.5m. More typical for a parking lot that for a housing unit. The challenge was how to make an extremely narrow and long plot useful. Once upon a time there were many farms around Ljubljana and these proportions of the plots, long and narrow, were used for farming. As city was growing and expanding it became an attractive location worth to try impossible. Innovative Extreme location has demanded numerous innovations in terms

Authors: Sonja Radović Jelovac; Studio Synthesis architecture&design Collaborators: Radovan Radović, Milić Đerković Photos: Relja Ivanić Year of completion: 2017 Location: Kolašin, Montenegro Total area: 300 m2 Site area: 900 m2 Contemporary “Chalet Jelovac” is a family house for leisure and research work of architect Sonja Radovic Jelovac, PhD, Principal of Studio Synthesis Architecture & Design from Montenegro. This architectural realisation is example of successful integration into specific and sensitive landscape in the vicinity of Park Forest in Dulovine Village in Kolasin at the north of Montenegro, at altitude of 1000 m. Chalet is positioned along linear row of larch forest (lat. Betula alba verucosa) which gives this location special authenticity and colourful diversity generated through changes of seasons. Key to architectural concept was strengthening relationships of nature vs culture, and private vs public through adaptive resilient solution and different usage in extreme weather conditions, especially in winter time, indoor and outdoor, which can integrate different programmes and activities of socio-ecological significance. The Chalet is designed and realised as multi-purpose building to be used by the architect’s family during summer, winter and weekend holidays, but also for research work and architectural workshops during summer architecture schools.

Authors: Barna D. Kovács; Barna Architects Client: Csaba Antal Photos: Tamás Bata Location: Dörgicse, Hungary Year of completion: 2017 Total area: 70 m2 Site area: 1167 m2 The primary task of the design was to create a guest house that is connected to the local environment, which provides a native atmosphere by making use of modern architectural elements. The secondary task was to create a space for the terrace that is in connection with the interior and can be one of the main living areas of the house. The aim of the geometry and the materials of the building was to connect the design to the site and create a native atmosphere. We planned to use traditional materials with a modern sense of design. The load bearing structure is visible on the exterior of the building, that provides rhythm and arrangement to the facade system. The structural elements are enhanced to serve the architectural concept of the house. The pillars of the structure stand in pairs, with a 1.4 meter axis distance to each other. Between the pillars are the transparent doors and windows all along the facade, providing plenty of natural light to the interior, as well as upholding a continuous connection between the inhabitants and nature. The wood frame structure is self supporting, the isolation walls are placed behind the pillars. The main building and the terrace reflect the same system of design, with the difference that the isolation walls are not included in the terrace construction. The

Architecture: Dmitrii Petrov; linearchitects Photos: Bajura Oleg Year of completion: 2018 Location: Chisinau, Moldova Total area: 780 m2 Site area: 1400 m2 The sculptural form of the house of concrete, metal and glass was conceived as an art object among private buildings. The house is located on a small plot on a slope with panoramic views of the surroundings. Gallery space of the house with flowing areas filled with modern objects of art, which is more like a museum, rather than a private house in which you can wander passing from one zone to another. The interior and architecture of the house aims to make an abstract impression on guests and residents of the house. But despite this, the house has everything you need for a comfortable stay: a gym, a swimming pool, a home theater, an office, many bedrooms, technical and utility rooms ... In the center of the house is a single-front staircase, sandwiched between two walls, which connects all three levels and which is illuminated with natural light from the glass roof. The house has three levels: one underground and two above-ground floors. In the underground level are located: a home cinema, a gym and a large dressing room. On the first level - in the center of the house there is a secluded living room with a second light above the sofa group, where natural light comes from the glass roof. The kitchen and dining room are located in the same space, the facade of which

Studio House

Architecure: DAAA (Dron and Ardelean Architects); Raul Ardelean, Simina Dron, Miruna Ardelean, Alexandru Apostol Photos: Arthur Tintu Year of completion: 2017 Location: Corbeanca, Romania Total area: 488 m2 Site area: 1108 m2 The project had to respond to an artist's needs and visions on a harmonious bonding between the inspiration and musical creation space, and the one for living. A studio‐home emerged, imaged by the artist, together with the architects, as very simple in form and architectural expression. The central and generating point of the house was the two‐storey living room, with its 3 essential elements: the piano, the library, and the fireplace. The white, simple and compact volume opens towards the courtyard and the forest through the general glazing of the south facade, with the interior continuing outside through the vegetation‐submerged terrace and pool. The other sides of the building have remained introvert, dominated by closed walls shapes with punctual gaps, thus ensuring, alongside the opaque enclosure wall, intimacy from the street and the neighbourhood.

E+MS Houses

Authors: Ina Elena Stoian Collaborator: Raluca Popa Structure: Vasilica Petrescu Garden Design: Mirela Dragoș Photos: Andrei Mărgulescu Year of completion: 2015 (exterior), 2017 (interior) Location: Galați, Romania Total area: 825 m2 Ground floor plan area: 322 m2 Site area: 1606 m2 The project reinterprets the lifestyle of three generations sharing the same site. The architect's suggestion of building the houses overlooking a common yard required solutions for the best layout and for defining private and semi-private spaces. The curved façades and the flared plan help to evade a direct view into the important spaces, and, in the same time, the houses open towards the south-orientated yard, which is organised as an outdoor living room. In a few years' time, the vegetation will allow only one free view: to the centre of the yard. The use of brick was suggested to client from the very first visit to the site, where the bricks from demolishing previous old houses and cellars had been deposited. The reuse of brick for the new constructions proved to be a great pretext to offer an alternative to the increasingly bland image of Galati city. The interior follows a simple design, while adding a few decorative elements at the client's request. The architect coordinated all the project phases and takes pride in the dialogue created between the garden and the interior, a scenario that was envisaged from the first sketches.

Koper Central Park

By |21. 03. 2019|Categories: Landscape19|

Authors: ENOTA Client: Koper Municipality Photos: Miran Kambič Year of completion: 2018 Location: Koper, Slovenia Total area: 26.000 m2 Site area: 26.000 m2 The basic building blocks of the new city park are monolithic, undulating urban elements. Their controlled placement in the space in combination with a pronounced topography of the green surfaces softly divides the whole of the park's surface into individual introverted programme isles. The design of the individual urban elements consistently follows the different programmes. In places, they are taller and act as a shelter from views and the noisy surroundings; elsewhere, they are lower and allow for an unimpeded contact between programme zones. Due to the proximity of the sea, the programme zones are appointed with numerous water elements. A pond, ground sprinklers, a geyser, parabolic water jets, cascades and a water platform in combination with the variegated urban elements encourage an active use of the space and an expansion of the future beach towards the interior of the park. The planted portion of the landscape design is laid out only with indigenous Mediterranean vegetation.

Pecka Playscape

Authors: Matěj Hájek, Tereza Kučerová; Moloarchitekti Project: Taros Nova Graphic design: Tomski&Polanski Client: Pec pod Sněžkou Municipality Photos: Jakub Skokan and Martin Tůma; BoysPlayNice Year of completion: 2018 Location: Velká Úpa, Pec pod Sněžkou, Czech Republic Total area: 1999,2 m2 Pecka Playscape represents a fusion between a playground, a sculpture park and an educational trail, designed on a monumental scale and set in the midst of the enchanting landscape of Krkonoše National Park. The Pecka Playscape is a unique set of play elements and installations on the boundary between sculpture and folly located at 1062 meters above sea level. The main impulse that initiated this project was to motivate both parents and children to enjoy the outdoors. To spend time in a forest while breathing fresh mountain air and to encourage them to be in contact with natural materials such as wood, water and stone. We designed all the playscape elements so that they are in harmony with the original landscape while keeping it almost intact. The installations were inspired by wildlife inhabiting the Krkonoše mountains. The playscape is thematically divided into the " world in the trees“ offering a walk along suspension bridges among the nests of black stork. The landscape then transforms into a " world in a forest" where it is possible to crawl through a giant spindle conch (Cochlodina), giant viper, animal dens or to be a part of a fight between two species of ants and to drop a wooden ball through an anthill labyrinth.

The Walk Above the Vineyards

By |21. 03. 2019|Categories: Landscape19|

Authors: Keeo4design; Jiří Vojtěšek, Jakub Roleček Cllient: Kobylí Municipality Photos: Keeo4design Year of completion: 2018 Location: Kobylí vrch hill, South Moravian Region, Czech Republic Built Area: 113,5 m2 A unique observation tower without a single stairstep opened in the South Moravian Region, Czech Republic. Its authors are the architects from the Keeo4design studio in Brno. Their Walk Above the Vineyards is shaped as a 334° segment of a circle ramp and overlooks the surrounding vineyards. When the visibility is good, it is possible to see the Austrian Alps from the top of it. The Walk Above the Vineyards is located near the village of Kobylí on the Kobylí vrch hill. The hill is covered in vineyards and at 334 meters its summit is the highest point in the area. “It was this place that inspired us to design the Walk. The observation deck is shaped as a 334° circle ramp segment, unobtrusively overlooking the beautiful surrounding landscape. The circle represents the natural circle of life and is a symbolic reference to the growth of Kobylí,” explains Jiří Vojtěšek, one of the two architects. ”Thanks to the inclined plane which replaces stairs, the Walk Above the Vineyards is accessible to those who cannot climb common observational towers. From the Walk’s highest point, 7.6 m above the ground, people can see the UNESCO-listed Lednice-Valtice Cultural Landscape, the Little Carpathians mountain range or even the Austrian Alps when the visibility is good,” says Jakub Roleček, the second architect. DT Plateau

By |21. 03. 2019|Categories: Landscape19|

Authors: concept Design: 4of7; Djordje Stojanovic and Milan Katic, developed design: Institute of Transportation CIP; Jelena Milosevic Photos: Ana Kostic Location: Belgrade, Serbia Year of completion: 2018 Built area: 2950 m2 The plateau is established to house a monument to Dimitrije Tucovic, an important figure in the Serbian socialist movement at the turn of the twentieth century, and to become a new public space in the city of Belgrade. It is designed as a sidewalk extension and a space capable to host events such as flower market, second-hand books sails or accommodate street food stands. The plateau sits between the National Bank of Serbia building and a busy traffic roundabout at Slavija Square in Belgrade. Such ‘hard edges’, impermeable to pedestrian traffic, make this site highly visible but isolated segment of the urban fabric. This is further reinforced with implementation of the new traffic plan, meant to help traffic congestion by repositioning pedestrian crossings away from the existing roundabout and thus making all pedestrian movement only tangential to the site. As a result, of both the built context and traffic regime, the site has become an island sitting on one of the busiest traffic routes in the inner city. Prior to the realization of the project, a makeshift car park and empty sheds occupied the lot. The area was fenced off for decades and only improvised fast food stands were popping up through the fence to serve commuters. The architectural intervention focused on creating an accessible place, open and inviting

Hiše 109 – Novi načini bivanja

By |07. 03. 2019|Categories: Arhitektura|

Mnogim so pomagali starši oziroma predniki z nakupom stanovanja. Nekateri so že
