Eric-Jan Pleijster (1977) is a senior Landscape Architect and the co-founder of LOLA Landscape Architects. He graduated cum laude in landscape architecture at Wageningen University (2003). Eric-Jan designs natural processes to optimize landscapes and to trigger unexpected and memorable experiences. Examples are the public space design of Feyenoord Stadium and Feyenoord City in Rotterdam and the redevelopment of the former prison Bijlmerbajes into a sustainable housing area in Amsterdam. Eric-Jan has written the LOLA bestseller Dutch Dikes (5 book awards) and the award-winning monograph ‘Lost Landscapes’. In 2013 he received the Rotterdam Maaskant Award for Young Architects, in 2014 LOLA received the TOPOS Landscape Award, in 2017 he was nominated ‘High Potential’ by PropertyNL. LOLA LOLA (LOst LAndscapes) is an internationally operating office for landscape architecture that studies and designs spatial transitions of degraded cultural landscapes. LOLA wants to transform these landscapes into beautiful, healthy and sustainable places. Whether in the city, suburbs or the countryside, LOLA aims to design sublime landscapes that make people enjoy, wander and wonder. We match knowledge of landscapes and of large-scale ecosystems with contemporary ideas about people, space and nature. For the total of our work, LOLA received the Rotterdam-Maaskant Prize for Young Architects and the TOPOS landscape award.

Dijana Vučinić iz a practicing architect, founder and leader of an interdisciplinary architectural practice DVARP. Her work is based on research on post-transitional city and interactive contemporary city ambience as well as urban and rural conditions in the developing touristic areas on Montenegrin coast and in the mountains. She is also founder and Program Director of APSS Institute that has started as Kotor APSS - Architectural Prison Summer School established in Kotor, Montenegro. APSS is a platform for education and research and it has been gathering architects and students from all over the world for seven years now. Vučinić has participated in Chicago Architectural Biennial with the re-use project for Dom Revolucije in Nikšić, Montenegro. She was a commissioner for Project Solana - Montenegro pavilion at XV Venice Architecture Biennale 2016 and co-curator and co-author of the exhibition Treasures in disguise - Montenegro Pavilion at La Biennale di Venezia 2014. For two years (2015-2017) Dijana Vučinić has been the Head of the Department for Development Projects in Urbanism and Architecture in the Government of Montenegro.  She has received several awards and recognitions for her work, most recently Big SEE Architectural Visionary Award 2019.

At the beginning of 2018, KONNTRA started to build its initial shape. Like an experiment, more precisely, a way to answer crucial question - "what if?", with or without any expectation… This „what if?“ has produced very positive outcome. As a young architectural studio, which in the past year has achieved excellent results in a series of competitions in the field of architecture and design KONNTRA became recognizable through its originality with contemporary, characteristic and colorful expression for manifestation of architectural projects. Architecture that is close to strong personalities, architecture in which you can read thoughts and identity through specific mode of graphic expression. KONNTRA started with the development of conceptual projects challenging conventional and consolidated practices. The main objective was to explore original paths of thought and develop innovative design tools and methodologies. The desire to prove as a successful team started with the participation on various projects and competitions in the field of architecture. The awards and acknowledgement of their work was a great motive, but also a moment of reality that they are a team of successful young architects. Distance and diversity was a challenge and not an obstacle. It is more challenging to harmonize and create something specific and extraordinary, even though they are living in different countries, raised in different places and have gained work experience in various backgrounds, which gave chance to have different approach to new opportunities. Marko Dabrović was born in Dubrovnik, 1969 where he finished elementary and high school. He graduated from Architecture Faculty, University of Zagreb, Croatia. Marko founded RNA studio for 3D computer generated visualizations in 1991, and he is one of the 4 founding partners of 3LHD, together with Saša Begović, Tanja Grozdanić Begović and Silvije Novak. He is most interested in implementing new technologies and materials in architecture, always exploring new possibilities for experimentation. He is an official expert of the Croatian Football Federation for infrastructural criteria. Marko is an active member of EUROPAN. Although he is always involved in all 3LHD projects, from first sketches to the final product, a couple of projects distinct: Croatian Pavilions for EXPO exhibitions in Japan and Spain, Hotel Belvedere in Dubrovnik, Croatia, Hotel LN Garden in Nansha, China, Port Lands Sport Centre in Toronto, Canada... His ability to overcome cultural and technical differences in foreign countries and find the best solutions has proven to be critical for many projects.
