Woodster Bikes is a small brand of an even smaller workshop from one of the smallest countries in Europe, Slovenia, however the brand is a cared for with love, and devotion to wood, the craft of design and a wish as large as the world. The brand was established in 2014, yet its creators have years of experience in many arts and crafts, maxi sailing boats furniture being a prime example.
Iztok Mohorič, the designer and owner of Woodster Bikes explains, that bike is made out of specially prepared beech plywood of Slovenian origin. Veneer is carefully selected and glued together with one goal – pure perfection. The frame is made out of two symmetric halves, which form a hollow frame when assembled. This makes the bike unusually light and strong.”
